Prologue:
What a dark night! Darkdaisy thought as Russetstar and Wolffrost led the gathering patrol across the rugged path.
“A cat!” Wolffrost shouted. Russetstar went forward and sniffed the small cat. Darkdaisy darted forward and sniffed the cat as well.
Milk! It’s a kit! What a huge kit… what an unusual scent. Russetstar raised her head with an aghast look on her face.
“Darkdaisy, you are to head back to camp and raise him as one of your kits. They have not yet opened there eyes and he is just as big as them but younger, they will not doubt that he is their brother.”
“Okay… I shall name him from his pelt. He is to be named Nightkit.” Darkdaisy picked up the black kit and carried him back to Ashclan camp.
“Mama! Mama! Is that you?” Nightkit Joyfully cried.
“Yes, young Nightkit, yes…”
Great story line, hope Erin Hunter sees this and writes the 5th series!!!

DeleteYes. They work as a team. 1 is a publisher, 1 is an editor, and 2 are writers. Only one lives in the US. Oh! The editor has another job, to make sure that they sound Like Erin Hunter.
